‘Now Brexit rules the waves a storm is coming over Britain and the remaining EU member states. Investors don’t like political, social and economic instability. They fear the separation in leavers and stayers among the British population. And what will happen with Scotland? Among other branches international law firms and the banking service industry settled in London are worrying about the consequences of being excluded from EU-regulation. No one can predict the future but it will undoubtedly gain the position of the Netherlands so nearby the United Kingdom and especially favour’s Amsterdam with its large international airport Schiphol in a one-hour flight to London. I expect a growing demand for first class offices in and around Amsterdam, more investments in hotel capacity and more demand for rental houses in the higher-priced segments of the rental market. So if we can come to a conclusion the Netherlands is back on the international real estate stage supported by an up going economic trend which is prosperous for investors as prices of real estate will continue to raise’.
